I had similar situation few years back after my I-140 approved, but before applying I-485.
As long as your job title, description and place of work won't change, then you are ok. When you apply I485 or H1B ext, then your attorney must submit a document (successor of interest or similar document), telling that your role and place don't change.

Call nearest DOL office from a public phone and with a fake identity...........
tell them your friend is in trouble and explain the situation to them....they will guide you

I have talked to them and they need only the name of Company and the name of victim .....rest they will do themselves.
I understand you might not have all the documents/proofs............dont worry.........DOL knows it is a common phenomenon with such consulting company.

I am going to file application for renewal of EAD of my spouse.She was on H-4 when she came to USA and she got EAD last year. She will start working from Aug 08. She has not used her EAD till now but went to India on AP.
1.What is manner of last entry and the current immigration status for her? Is it Parolee or H4 status in both cases?
2.I have filed I-485 after July 2007. Can I E-file? As I read somewhere on forum that On or after July 30, 2007, applications may not be electronically filed and must be submitted to a Service Center via regular mail or courier service.

I do not get my pay checks by email. We have to log into our company's internal web site and take a print out of the paycheck. (Its actually a web page I have been taking a printout, even for my Visa extensions). My parents had a Visa Stamping last month with out any issues.

Hi guys,
My H1-B visa is approved lastyear (Jan 2007).and I came to US on Mar 2007.
In my H1-B visa the DOB is wrongly entered.In my passport the DOB is correct.I havent checked this and i m in US now.When i went to Driving office to apply for my drivers license they asked me to correct the DOB in my VISA.
Can anyone helpme out how to change correct my DOB in my H1-VISA.
Whats the procedure to change my DOB in my Visa.
Any help is appericiated.

I had applied for H1 when from india apil 2007, and in may 2007 i entered US on H4. My h1 got approved in aug 2007 asking me to get the stamping done from india. My consultant applied for H1 amendment on sep 21 2007. Its 8 weeks now, still not got any reply from INS.
1. I would like to know,how long does it generally take for h1 B amendment process.
2. Since the amendment is taking a long, can i go to mexico and re-enter

Do not forget to give grand parents a letter, duly signed by you and your wife that they are taking a minor US citizen, out of the country with parent's consent. I do not have any particular format to give you. Get it notarized, also mention the dates for which he will be outside the country. I had a tough time with Air France few years ago, I was taking my own baby and my wife was not travelling with me. Air France denied me bording because I did not have a wrttien permission from my wife !! It also differs from airline to airline.

I am sorry to ask...If H1B doesn't have I-94 attatched to it and it was approved when my friend was in india, he can work on L1. My question is, if he moves out of country and get H1B stamped, can he work on L1?

I am on H1B and I have never used my EAD... so I am worried now and I don't know what are my options now... Would you please take few minutes of your precious time and help me with the options I may have now to correct this issue?
