My confusion is, as soon as I enter on AP I am on EAD and I don't have approved EAD. Does this mean I can not work untill I get EAD approved? I don't have Visa Stamped and I am not planning for Visa Stamping.
you can still continue on H1B (same employer) as long it is validity..even when you use AP at POE..

Per lawyer, almost all EB2 cases are being audited (due to the harsh economic climate). DOL believes that if a job falls under Job Zone 5, then it requires enough preparation to justify a EB2 filing. If it falls under Job Zone 4, it's not "normal" and DOL would usually require a Business necessity letter.

Hello,
My husband and I got married in December 2008 while I was a tourist in the United States. In order to stay and live with him, I sent an I-485 application with all the package (I-131, I-765, I-693...).
I have received 2 advanced paroles and my work authorization and will have a SSN in proably 2 weeks but the green card, if accepted, will come very late.
Now I really would like to visit my family and friends in Belgium for Christmas (or later, regarding to the job I will have) and I have heard that the advanced parole will not help me a whole lot.
So my questions are:
- Who should I contact to be sure that my husband and myself can go visit my family without any problem at the border, I mean, with the certitude I can come back in Pennsylvania with my husband? The customer service is not really helpfull this time.
- Can I do it at all without beginning everything from the beginning and restarting all the immigration procedure?
- What and to whom do I need to proove that I don't do anything bad and that I just want to visit my family and friends?
- What kind of documents do I need to take with me? What kind of forms do I have to send to USCIS or DHS?
I know it's not a question of life or death and there are a lot more urgent problems for other people, but I psychologically need to visit them and present my husband to some of my friends.

I had F1 visa from July 2002 - July 2007 stamped in my passport. I moved to H1b in Oct 2004 and stamped my H1 Visa in June 2005. So you can move to H1B from F1 without stamping any visa only if you have to leave US then you need to get the new H1 stamp before re-entering. Also do not forget to fax a caopy of your H1 approval notice to your school's international center so that they can stop reporting you in SEVIS

If my H1 transfer is approved on say 1st August 2010, do I need to join the new company immediatly say 2nd or 3rd or can i take some more time say 2-3 weeks (Aug 20th) to join?

Secretary Janet Napolitano of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced (http://www.aila.org/content/default.aspx?docid=32175) on June 3, 2010 that the U.S. and France have established an arrangement to implement the Immigration Advisory Program (IAP), which allows for the identification of high-risk travelers at foreign airports before they board aircraft bound for the U.S. This arrangement has been launched at Paris� Charles De Gaulle International Airport. A similar arrangement was entered into on July 1, 2009, implementing IAP at Madrid Barajas International Airport.
The purpose of the IAP is to allow specialized U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel posted in foreign airports to utilize current targeting and passenger analysis information and/or an assessment of passengers� documentation to identify high-risk persons bound for the U.S. and to make �no board� recommendations to carriers and host governments.
Secretary Napolitano believes that the IAP arrangements will enhance the capabilities of both the U.S. and foreign countries in which we have collaborated with to protect our immigration systems as well as the global aviation network from abuse by terrorists and transnational criminals.

As all PD are now current, number of EAD filling will increase. So the processing time will be about 6 months for EAD.
My question is what will happen, if the PD retrogress before EAD is approved. Will it be still approved, or will have to wait till PD get current again.

I'm with Michael on the lizard shot ... maybe it's the disconnected rear foot that makes it look odd.
I REALLY like the water lily shot, Josh. The composition is beautiful, with the other lily pads forming a "circle of circles" counterbalance to the flower. Very, very nice ... in fact, probably my favorite of all your posted photos. (not that I have anything against the others)

I was wondering how the engine is calculating the scaling of the image to change the ViewPort, while zooming in and out. Does the change of ViewPort and the image composition within it depends only on the viewport width?
I have not able to find much greater details on this yet from MS. Would you be able to direct me please to some materials to understand more on Multiscale image control and its working in and out.
